Dr. Phelps grew up and went to school in Tyler. During college, he joined the U.S. Air Force of which he spent 15 years and served in Hawaii, Turkey, Japan and state side. Dr. Phelps has been married for 22 years and has four children. He has been back in Tyler and has practiced in East Texas for over nine years. He has surgical privileges at ETMC, Trinity Mother Frances Spine and Joint Hospital and Medical Center Sulphur Springs.
Dr. Phelps has an Associates and a Bachelor of Science Degree, he attended TJC and University of North Texas. He has his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and attended Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical College of Podiatric Medicine (four-year podiatric medical degree).
Finally, he spent his post medical primary and surgical residency training in upstate New York at United Health Services Hospitals. He was appointed as Assistant Clinical Instructor at Upstate Medical University, Medical Clinical Campus.
Dr. Phelps grew up in California and finished high school in Tyler, Texas. Dr. Phelps has been married for 35 years and had five grown sons and daughters. He started the practice in Jacksonville, and he is the founder of the Foot Clinic of East Texas. He has been practicing in East Texas for 37 years, and he’s well known in the East Texas medical community. He also has surgical privileges at ETMC and Trinity Mother Frances.
Dr. Dan Phelps has a Bachelor of Science degree and attended Stephen F. Austin University. He has his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and attended Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, IL (four-year podiatric medical degree).
Dr. Phelps spent his post -graduate residency in San Antonio at the University of Texas Health and Science Center. He has served as the President of the East Texas Podiatric Medical Association in past years.
Dr. Renee Rodriguez
Dr. Rodriguez grew up and went to school in Houston. She was in practice in Corsicana, Texas and has been practicing since 2014. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. Dr. Rodriguez has surgical privileges at ETMC and Trinity Mother Frances.
Dr. Rodriguez has a Bachelor of Science and Biochemistry with a minor in Philosophy. She has her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and attended Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (4 year podiatric medical degree).
Finally she spent her residency at University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center/Kent State University in Richmond, Ohio.
